Hosted by the Faculty of Economics at Universitas Sriwijaya, this seminar explores the global energy crisis and the transition to renewable energy from an economic perspective. Drawing on recent research, the presentations examine the impact of energy transition on South Sumatra’s economy and the role of green policy instruments in managing financial risks during the shift to a low-carbon economy in emerging markets. The event provides a platform for discussion and critical reflection on the economic challenges and policy responses surrounding the global push toward sustainable energy.
